Automatic Cut and Strip Machine

The Model 970 Compu-Strip© is a fully programmable bench top Measure, Cut & Strip Machine. The Model 970 uses high torque stepper motors, belt feed material transport, and a precision ball screw blade mechanism. This powerful machine processes stranded wire from 8 to 32 AWG, flat cable up to 0.437" in width, and multi-conductor cable up to .355" OD. (Note: All specifications are material dependent.) To aid in processing fine small gauge wires the Model 970 can easily be converted from a belt feed material transport to a roller feed material transport. This unit features an easy-to-use electronic control panel. Carpenter's exclusive user-friendly machine software and improved button layout make the Model 970 very easy to use. All standard machine functions have their own dedicated keys, dramatically reducing "buried menus" and "hidden screens". For new users the "Program New Wire" feature guides the operator step-by-step through each field required to program a new wire configuration.
